OES participates in the following programs. There are separate boxes in the lobby for each program unless noted. Please send items in separate envelopes or bags.
Box Tops for Education - Clip the small Box Top logo on participating products. Check out www.boxtops4education.com for list of participating products.
Campbell’s Labels For Education - Clip the specially marked UPC codes. Please do not send in whole labels. Check out www.labelsforeducation.com for a list of participating products.
e-Labels for Education with Price Chopper - Register your Price Chopper AdvantEdge Card for Owego Elementary School at www.PriceChopper.com/eLFE. When you purchase eligible Labels for Education brands products at Price Chopper, our school can earn FREE educational merchandise, such as computers, software, sports equipment, musical instruments, library books and even a minivan. The school redeems the points collected for FREE merchandise from the e-Labels for Education catalog.
Used Print Cartridges & Small Electronics - Recycle these and earn money for OES! Check out the full list of accepted items at www.green-recycling-fundraiser.org. Here are a few: ink jet cartridges (no larger than the palm of your hand), Used cell phones, Laptop/ notebook computers, I-pods, Digital cameras.
Holiday Shoppe Items - Donate your unused gift items or new craft items (ex. scarves, beaded jewelry). The PTO will “re-gift” them by selling them at our Holiday Shoppe in December.
Extra Envelopes - Donate unused envelopes for the Wee Deliver letter writing program. You can also send letters to your students. There is a mailbox in the lobby for your letters. Address envelopes to your student at their classroom number or teacher name.
Price Chopper Tools for Schools - Sign up your AdvantagEdge card to Owego Elementary School (#39399). OES will automatically earn tools for the school every time you shop. Sign up in store or at ww.pricechopper.com
Band Instruments - Share the gift of music. Donate the band instrument that is in the back of your closet. Drop off in the office or contact Mrs. Williams.
Children’s Books - The OA Family Reading Partnership has red crates in the lobby and office for book donations. Drop off gently used books your child has outgrown.
